Post‑DragonCon Progress Report

With DragonCon behind me, I’ve spent the last few days getting my creative house back in order. The first major task was reorganizing my Scenes Bible — something I’ve needed to do for a while. Characters are now sorted into their proper communities, and the settlement nodes finally reflect the social geometry of the story the way I intended.
That cleanup opened the door for the next step: returning to Angels Unawares. I’m about halfway through the third book of the trilogy, and revisiting it after the convention has been refreshing. The pacing feels sharper, the emotional beats clearer, and the thematic threads more intentional.
It’s a good reminder that sometimes stepping away — even for something as chaotic and fun as DragonCon — gives you the perspective you need to move forward. The trilogy is calling again, and I’m answering.
